Stan Avedon, General Manager

Stan has been riding bikes since he was 5 years old – a long, long, very long time ago. Throughout his adult life, Stan followed his passion for all things bicycle, eventually bringing him to Hastings Velo. A Category 3 USA Cycling competitor (back in the day), Stan loves to ride and compete in road, mountain and cyclocross races (and an occasional triathlon). Stan is a Level 3 USA Cycling coach and SICI (Serotta International Cycling Institute) Pro Bike Fitter. Stan says, “I am very excited to be running Hastings Velo and look forward to being a part of a unique bicycle retail experience in Westchester County.”

Robert Flint, Pro Mechanic

Bob has been assembling, repairing and servicing bicycles for over 30 years. He started at fourteen years old at Brielle Cyclery in New Jersey, where he worked his way through school and became a master mechanic. Over the years, Bob has worked on virtually all types of bicycles, from the neon-anodized mountain bikes of the 1990′s through to today’s most advanced electronic shifting and power capturing systems. There is no service job too tough for Bob to tackle, and he loves a challenge.
