Fitting Studio

Stan received training and certification in professional bicycle fitting from Serotta International Cycling Institute in Saratoga Springs, NY.

For the last 10 years this program had been run by Paraic McGlynn, who has performed over 12,000 fits in the last 5 years. Paraic is not only one of the most respected fitters in the world. Paraic has developed systems and techniques that have been industry changing over the years.

The fit process is a very detailed experience that is meant to provide a cyclist with a roadmap, addressing each individual’s unique anatomy, history and skill level. Throughout the fit process you are guided by your fitter. Each step is explained, and, when complete, you are given coordinates which provide for comfort, economy of movement and safety. These coordinates are used to establish dimensions on a custom frame or determine the best position on a standard bicycle.
